Thank you for all your hard work and commitment collecting signatures for the Medical Right to Refuse. Each day that we receive your envelopes brings us one step closer to our goal. If you have not signed the Medical Right to Refuse petition yet please click here to print the Signature Packet. Each of you are a key part of Ohio history in the making!
September 22, 2022, was the soft deadline to send in the signature pages that you have been collecting. Many volunteers have requested to turn them in after this weekend because they are still busy collecting at festivals and events across Ohio. Approximately 15,000 signatures have been turned in or are on their way to be processed.
We know that a true grassroots effort starts with a spark and spreads like wildfire as people learn about it. It is exciting to see that start to happen with the Medical Right to Refuse here in Ohio!
To make the May 2023 ballot, we request that each of you ask everyone you know to get at least 10 signatures. Even better if 10,000 people get 60 signatures we would have our 600,000. Together that spark can spread and be an unstoppable flame.
We believe GOD has a plan and with His help all things are possible. We will stand strong and continue to gather signatures until we meet the goal of 600,000+ signatures.
You ask what happens if we don't make the 600,000+ signatures by November 30th? We will push the goal post back to the November 2023 ballot and continue to collect signatures until May 31, 2023. The signatures must be filed with the Secretary of State 125 days before the election. Again, we will not give up, we will stand strong and we will continue to collect signatures until Medical Right to Refuse makes the Ohio ballot!
